por que foi aceitável este censo enquanto que o outro não (capítulo 21)? Este censo registrou só aos levita, aqueles separados para servir a Deus, e foi usado para organizar o trabalho no templo. O censo não estava apoiado na soberba ou na auto-suficiência, como o esteve o censo anterior de guerreiros.

32And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place , and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD .
