Zacarias 12

3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

7The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

Assim como a água corre colina abaixo, a influência de uma cidade pelo general corre para seus arredores. Mas esta vez, o resto do Judá teria prioridade sobre Jerusalém para que assim o povo de Jerusalém não se ensoberbeciera. Não pense que deve atestar primeiro às pessoas "importante" (atletas profissionais, estrelas de cinema e altos funcionários ou empresários), Cristo veio para procurar e salvar aos perdidos, inclusive aos pobres. Devemos tomar cuidado de evitar a soberba espiritual ou possivelmente nós, ao igual a Jerusalém, seremos os últimos em saber o que Deus está fazendo.
