A Psalm.

1O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Este é um salmo de louvor que vislumbra a vinda de Deus para governar a seu povo. Jesus o cumpriu quando deveu salvar a todos os homens de seus pecados (98.2, 3) e virá outra vez para julgar ao mundo (98.8, 9). Deus é amorosamente perfeito e perfeitamente justo. É misericordioso quando castiga e não se fixa nos pecados quando ama. Elogie-o por sua promessa de salvá-lo e porque retornará outra vez.
