Números 21

5And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

O Salmo 78 nos diz por que se queixava o Israel: (1) seus espíritos não eram fiéis a Deus (Psa 78:8); (2) não quiseram obedecer a lei de Deus (Psa 78:10); (3) esqueciam os milagres que Deus os fazia (Psa 78:11). Nossas queixa freqüentemente têm suas raízes em algumas destas ações e atitudes néscias. Se podemos erradicar a fonte de nossa queixa, não se aninhará nem crescerá em nossa vida.

9And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
