João 21

1After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself .

Jó refutou a idéia do Zofar de que os maus nunca terão riquezas e felicidade, dizendo que no mundo real o malvado sim prospera. Deus faz o que lhe agrada com os indivíduos (21.22-25), e a gente não pode empregar suas circunstâncias para medir sua própria bondade ou a de Deus, algumas vezes (mas não sempre) estão relacionadas. O êxito dos amigos do Jó estava apoiado em sua realização exterior. Entretanto, o êxito para Deus está no coração das pessoas.

23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
