1When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Assim como os israelitas, às vezes enfrentamos a oposições entristecedoras. Já seja na escola, no trabalho, ou até em casa, podemos nos sentir atrasados ou necessitados. Deus reforçou a confiança dos israelitas lhes recordando que O sempre estava com eles e que já os tinha salvado de um perigo potencial. Também nós podemos nos sentir seguros quando consideramos que Deus pode vencer inclusive os obstáculos mais difíceis .
