depois de que Deus deu ao Uzías grande prosperidade e poder, voltou-se soberbo e corrupto. É verdade que "antes do quebrantamento é a soberba" (Pro 16:18). Se Deus lhe deu riquezas, influência, popularidade e poder, seja agradecido, mas tome cuidado. Deus aborrece a soberba. Enquanto que é normal sentir regozijo quando obtemos algo, é equivocado desprezar a Deus ou menosprezar a outros. Analise suas atitudes e recorde dar a Deus o mérito pelo que possui. Utilize seus dons para agradá-lo.
