1 Coríntios 4

1Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

5Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

É uma tentação julgar a outros cristãos, avaliando-os se forem ou não bons seguidores de Cristo. Mas só Deus conhece o coração da pessoa, e só O tem o direito de nos julgar. A advertência do Paulo aos corintios também devesse ser para nós. Devemos confrontar aos que pecam (veja-se 5.12, 13), mas não devemos julgar quem é um melhor servo de Cristo. Quando você julga a alguém, considera-se automaticamente melhor, e isso é arrogância.
